South Sikkim

Ravangla or Rawangla or Ravongla is a small tourist town with an elevation of 8000 feet located in the South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by state highway to other major towns in the state and lies between Pelling and Gangtok.

SOUTH SIKKIM – 2N/3D

Day – 01 PICKUP BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/ NJP RAILWAY STATION
Pickup at the Bagdogra airport / NJP railway station, 3 hr 33 min (105 km) via NH10 & NH710 overnight stay at the Hotel in Namchi.

Day 02 – Namchi local sightseeing – early morning breakfast – the local sightseeing will be similar as this is the norm – Siddhesvara Dhaam is a unique pilgrimage tourism venture of the Sikkim government developed as pilgrim cum cultural centre having a 87 feet statue of lord shiva and replicas of four Dhaams of the country at one place at Solophok, Hilltop in Namchi – the four most revered Dhams of the Hindus Jagannath, Dwarika, Rameshwaram, Badrinath have been replicated in this fantastic complex to benefit the devotees and tourists – there is also a rock garden just few kilometres up from the town on the way to Samdruptse – the rock garden displays a wide variety of flora and is a local recreation and picnic spot then go to Siddhesvara Dham (shirdi sai mandir )and back to hotel for lunch and way – the Ravangla over night stay at Hotel Ravangla.

Day – 03 early morning breakfast – visit the Buddha Park of Ravangla, also known as Tathagata Tsal, is situated near Ravangla in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It was constructed between 2006 and 2013, and features a 130-foot-high (40 m) statue of the Buddha and Temi Tea Garden, Drop to Bagdogra airport / Railway Station.
